Mana 3,867 #1 Posted May 27, 2009 Some of you may remember my darker 2fort, with HL2 zombies walking around. At one point I added particle rain to it but because it didn't come with TF2 there was no way for me to have it loaded by clients and even after extensive editing the particle rain from the benchmark caused heavy FPS drops. But! Now with the release of arena_sawmill the rain is part of TF2 and it is actually optimized. Should I add it to one of the 2fort servers? Graedus 9 #8 Posted May 27, 2009 As long as there's no detrimental performance issues like the current shadow issues I don't see why not. Would be a nice facelift for such a common map. Maybe have a sunny and a rainy version to choose from and cycle through? I love how most of the people posting in this thread probably never play 2fort since it never comes up on Stock Map servers and good players generally hate 24/7 2fort. First, it doesn't distract snipers, it merely gets annoying. Second, stop playing spy so much. I'm having too much fun pyroing you in corners. what does w+m1 mean? W (forward button) + M1 (Mouse 1 Button, a.k.a. Left Click) Typical pyro tactic is to run straight forward with the flamethrower blazing. The Lorax actually bound forward to his M2 once and played as a pyro. It was hilarious. Real pyros ambush, reflect projectiles, and flare sentries. It's what happens when daddy loves you VERY much.
