Is Anyone Who Finished Kenji And Grayback's Journey?

Yeah, I've finished all three journeys some years ago. But now while replaying the Serpent campaign, I seem to be having difficulty with Serpentholm 2 (the one in which Otomo betrayed you). I don't remember it being this hard before. I guess it's either I have lost my skills, or I've got a different version, which makes the game harder than it was.

I have played the serpent campaign this week (on short sessions though) and just finished Serpentholm 2 (with Otomos betrayal). And aaaaahhhh...... it took me about two hours to finish them, while losing on the first try as I did a frontal attack on wolf when Shinja appears. The first time I played this I think it is not that difficult... or just maybe because I always save a game before when my army rises in number. Now I do it straight coz it seems a cheat to save when you have played this before...he he.

Then again, BR is really a game that wont full up your appetite to play..

At long last, I finally managed to beat Serpentholm 2 this afternoon. xD I got Tao in the monk stage and am now fighting against the Wolf.

Is it just me, or is that last stage against the Wolf Clan on Serpent Campaign really easy? Serpentholm 2 is a lot more challenging and harder than the last stage, imo.

I Finished Kenji's journey (Dragon and Serpent) lots of times....Grayback's was super easy

As for Serpentholm2 (Dragon) I found this mission really easy. At the beginning, Kenji has a horse so use it and rush to the top left of the map where the Lotus is. Don't build a base where the default spot is. Follow up with all your starting army and Kazaan to where Kenji is to back him up. Once Kenji gets there, lotus will have prbly 4-6 buildings but have some Blade acolytes and staff adepts which would be easy to get rid off.

This is probably the only mission where I found Kazaan effective. Use him to burn the buildings down and hi jack the lotus spot with your peasants building huts and archery ranges. Be careful tho, cuz Kazaan's fire can spread and hit your buildings as well. Pump up some archers while u burn down his town. Keep an eye for the lotus peasants tho cuz they have a nasty habit of running down and building a base on other rice fields. Hunt them down and Lotus is gone.

Once u got rid of the lotus, the Serpent's base is in the east where your new base is. They are really weak with only swordsmen, bowmen and bandits as an army. Burn those to the ground and head up north where the falls divide and kill Shinja.

This prbly takes just 20-30 min tops

I wanna play Grayback's Journey

I finish that journey when I'm in the Philippines(I borrow the new version cd from my friend)

Now, the Battle Realms I play is the old version(without Grayback's journey)

(And this CD is from Taiwan because I'm in Taiwan now)

So I only play Kenji's not with Grayback's

i finish kenji's journeys 2 times with dragon clan in dificulty level...2 times with serpent clan

grayback journeys much easy than kenji journeys..i finish it many times only in 2-3 hours

i finish graybacks journey once a day because i'm working on a mod abou it.

i think kenjis journey dragon about 20 times, because i made a mod about it

kenjis journey serpent is in my opinion much difficulter than dragon ich finished about 5 times.

graybacks journey is the easiest campaign,i can finish the whole campaign in 1 hour

the dragon campaign is not that easy but a little hard.

the serpent campaign is the hardest becuz of the serpentholm mission (the second one)and their enemy is the wolf clan,the strongest clan of all(for me )

but i finished all of the campaigns

-In the fifth mission, you just train and upgrade diggers, charge pass by the witches and into the peasants and start destroying their economy.

-With Taro, just rush the nearest building that spawns bodyguards. For the other two just send pitch slingers to burn them.

-Same thing with the final mission. Use diggers to dig throught the barriers and destroy the keep.

I've already finished this game over and over again but its fun to play XD.

Instead of waiting, you can use ninja to find Nightvol, after you spot him, leave some units to protect your base then the others will attack him.

In my Br. WOTW is omitted the hardest mission in serpent holm when we started ni midle of the map with serpent kenji3 that mission when the Necro come from the East after fev min.

This playthrough's ongoing, but I like to think I'll have it finished soon. I can't recall who said it, but yes, some of the missions ARE hard, but if you have the right strategy and the right troops built, you can manage it.

Now that I think abot it, in the portrait of the first Kenji it looks like he's wearing a biscuit wooden disc on his head or something. It doesn't look like anything resembling a conical peasant hat.
