Annoying Donors

Hello, I was playing on 24/7 2Fort Instant Spawn Chicago and there is a donor who muted me for no reason. Most donors ALWAYS abuse their powers on kids / teens who's voices are high-pitched like me. I am 14 but my microphone sucks and I cant afford another one so I have to use this one. I am a regular on that server and all of a sudden this guy comes and acts like a retard! I am playing a normal game when all of a sudden, BurnIt (Steam ID: STEAM_0:0:36003758) initiated a votemute on me. I got a little angry but when he made fun of me afterwards, I got really angry and decided to post here. I don't believe that donors should abuse their privileges like that. I mean like I was only using the mic to tell my team where the spys were or where the heavy was going. I never have spammed the microphone on any server iv'e ever been on and I believe he should not have the powers he currently has because afterwards, I joined back the game and he initiated a votekick on another player, I forgot who, and you know how players are, they just click yes because it doesn't happen often and they don't know why its happening. So I don't want him to be banned, that's why I did not post in the Bans section but I just don't want him to have his privileges he currently has because he dose NOT use them in moderation at all, he just uses them when he feels like it. So please just take away his privileges, it is not fair to me because I am a regular and everyone else was fine with me except him and he chose me because he thinks I'm about 8 years old. I get really angry when people do this and will always report it. The game play was on 06/29/2012 from about 9:00AM to about 10:20AM. Thank You.

Not all donors abuse their privileges: far from it (I am a donor for example, and apart from using the reserved slot and change team abilities, I barely use my powers at all). Please don't assume we are all like this, because we are not.

From what you've posted however, this guy sounds like a douche. You could create a ban thread in the bans section, and I'm sure a more senior member of the clan will have a look at this.

I would like to apologize for what I did, I haven't abused my powers before and I shouldn't start now or ever. I am also a regular on the server and I'm not in a good mood today, but I also like to joke around. I don't appreciate you calling me a douche though, I didn't do anything "douche" prior to the muting incident. Prior to this incident I was playing how I normally do and I got annoyed by MichiganMan's mic that was actually hurting my ears and I reacted badly. I ask for a second chance. Again, I apologize.

He started a vote nothing abusive about it. The majority of the server agreed you were being annoying. He didn't mute you, he just started the process that let the server decide if you were being disruptive enough to deserve a mute.

Abuse would be if he started subsequent votes after a resounding "no" % during the initial votemute.

There isn't anything wrong about using the privilege of vote muting, just don't use it because you don't like a persons voice. That is practically the definition of discrimination, and I've seen it happen plenty of times before.

That being said, if you are annoyed by someone's voice you can mute them on your own system and there would be no need to initiate a vote mute.

Okay listen, I did not call you a douche, sorry if i did somehow? But you could have just muted me by yourself, you didn't have to start a whole votemute. And also The Pro Loser, I did not comment on everything, only things that were important as I stated before. But again, you could have just muted me on your own, I accept your apology and hope you don't just go and start votes (mute, kick, or ban) for no reason anymore. If you are the only one annoyed, then ask me to stop, I will. So I am sorry for annoying you and lets just clear this thing up.

Little off topic sorry...

I've been playing on Lotus servers for awhile now never really any problems, but when I'm on 24/7 2Fort Instant Spawn Chicago there is this same player making fun of people, and calling others names. I can understand...in a way...if he does it to just liven things up a little, but they then try to votekick or voteban people because they did something they didn't like. Around half an hour ago the same player successfully votebanned me, their reason was "idunoy" and people still voted yes to it. All I did was respawn, run outside the entrance, saw someone and melee'd them, finishing them off. It was the above mentioned player.

If you'd like I can try and get a demo of them, but just thought I'd share my little story. <,<
