There's another topic out there that discusses games we don't particularly care for, and I just thought "What about recommending some awesome games to each other?"

I'm sure you all have played Skyrim, but what about Oblivion? If you've been thinking "Hey, I wish there were more Skyrim." then you should get Oblivion. It's one of (if not my favorite) my favorite games of all time. It's HUGE, and it has tons of quests, and if that's not enough there is an inexhaustible supply of mods for it on the Nexus.

Same here. Its alright, but I really don't see why people go on about it. Sure, its open world and all, but every town just seems the same.

On topic, you cannot beat the likes of Half-Life 2, and if you think otherwise, you're stupid.

Something else I absolutely love is Alice: Madness Returns. Gameplay its reasonable, but the artwork is just so directed and trippy, and I absolutely adore it.

Oh, and League of Legends.

OddWorld. The first one. I think they just put a spit shine on it as well. Awesome puzzle/platformer with a deeply political message.

I absolutely love the Lost Planet series. Lost Planet 3 was definitely the best in my mind, but the way it ended has the potential for a 4th game, and that one would probably be the best. But they probably didn't make enough $$ off the third one to make a 4th. I certainly hoped they did but who knows...

Guns of Icarus online is great for playing with friends.

Minecraft took up so many hours of my life that it would be wrong If I didn't mention it.

FTL is a truly magnificent Indie title and I love it. (ask Possum)

Dawn of War series is always good.

Red Faction Guerella

Portal 2 (specifically the co-op campaign) was hours of fun.

Terraria (similar to minecraft, but arguably better) also see Starbound (released today 4th Dec)

Mass Effect series, still remains my favorite game series

Apart from that

• Portal 2 - GlaDOS <3
• Knights of the Old Republic (old but still oh so good)
• Assassin's Creed II (4 is pretty fun too, if you like pirates... not that I like pirates.... I love them >>)
• Dragon Age: Origins (wasted hundreds of hours there)
• Dota2
• Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines (loved the story line for some odd reason)

I play it occasionally when I go over to my friends house where we play it on his original XBOX... Real fun game to play with two players... but pretty boring solo...
