{{clan}}UnablE 2 #158 Posted August 17, 2007 i know a few too did you know that you get put 2 units on 1 tower there is a way too do it. 2 blade acolythis can kill kenji without kenjis bg and i guess other units too(i only tested with blade acolythis). the healers of dragon and lotus can heal more then the healers of serpent. the healer of serpent can kill an deseased one. otomo is stronger then shinja. pitch slingers do double damage the wolf clan has the strongest units versus buildings pitch slingers are the strongest units vs buildings. cptheslayer 2 #160 Posted August 19, 2007 another fact: werewolves lose half health after being hit by one dragon fire. Another fact: the player gains yang or yin by being hurt and by doing damage.

Speedy 11 #169 Posted August 27, 2007 Tomo, Smoke has two effects, blinding and weakening. Zen arrows only counter the blinding effect.

IndominusRex 13 #171 Posted August 31, 2007 Okay, smoke do this: Weaken your defence Weaken your attack Makes you blind Cancel your micro (Such as O or N keys or from Running or any other movements) Stuck you; you can't move! It also makes you feel really bad for your units, lol, why not feel bad to your units if they are blind?

abaxa 0 #175 Posted September 12, 2007 Well, I was going to make a short post but when I started typing I just kept thinking of things to add. After typing for oh, the last hour, I realized I needed to number this or it seems too random. 1.) Warlocks have a 100% regen cap. This might vary with different versions of the game but the one I have has always been like this. Master warlocks do not share this ability. 2.) The teir 4 Kenji which you get after the horde appears also has a 100% cap unlike the version you start the battle with. The dragon version will get a permanent attack bonus after the Nightvol spawns and can kill a hordeling in 3 strokes. Conversely the brothers and spirit warriors cannot regenerate health. 3.) The Blade Acolyte's inner strength allows them to heal to full health. 4.) Another interesting fact about the Nightvol is that he isn't kill on sight for the wolf which I found out much to my annoyance last night. He is KoS to the lotus but there is a cap to how far they can damage him. Unless you drop him below that % they cannot kill him. 5.) Kenji is the only zen master with no resummon timer. I think the default for everyone else is 30 seconds. I've seen the wolf keep bug out in Grayback's journey and eliminate timers when multiple heroes die (don't ask, bad day for me). 6.) The zombies in the serpent story mode where you are trying to ascend the dragon's spire are super zombies. They do not lose health just from walking and are generated automatically from the buildings. It would be awesome if you could put zombie generators on custom maps. 7.) The Diseased One is the only unit in the game who gets two health upgrades. 8.) Packmasters and Werewolves will recruit wild wolves if they meet them with open wolf slots. Admittedly I've only seen this happen once. 9.) Player Wolf units will not automatically attack enemy wolf pets. They will only fight in self defense or if you order them to attack. 10.) A Druidess can keep several units entangled if she has clear line of sight. If the AI encounters a slope in trying to use entanglement it will become bugged and not realize the attack doesn't land. This is because the Druidess touches her staff to the ground which shoots out a projectile that travels in an arc low to the ground. The projectile will travel into and under a slope and thus never reaches the target. 11.) If you entangle an enemy on horseback and kill the horse before entanglement wears off you cannot target or harm the unit. They will only fall when the entanglement fades and can't be attacked until they stand back up. 12.) If you put a Wolf unit into a tower with wolf pets, the pets will sit at the base and attack any enemy who gets near. The AI loves to put Packmasters in towers which is stupid because the wolves die easily and the packmaster has no ranged attacks. 13.) If you destroy a tower with fire the unit standing on top will take damage from the burning embers. 14.) A Warlock's soul lick ability will reveal a ninja who walks next to them. It will also trigger Utara's innate stun. You could, in theory, stop a dark canoping Staff Adept with this but Utara needs to be very close to the Adept. 15.) When Taro uses his battle gear he twirls his sword around and a golden glow will indicate that the effect has taken hold on enemies around him. Combine Taro and Utara by keeping them close. Use his gear and as soon as you see the animation end fire Song of Sorrow. Any enemy weak against magic is pretty much dead on the second song. 16.) If you arm a Witch with demon's amulet when the effect is going you can set her to passive and her stamina regeneration and the amulet's drain will cancel each other out. She won't gain any stamina but can remain a demon for as long as she remains on passive. 17.) When using the teir 2 female battle gear to drain tower energy it immobilizes them and they cannot attack. Set the unit to passive to extend the amount of time they can keep the gear running. Witches running vampiric gaze stack with each other. I haven't tested the others but I don't expect the wolf and dragon ones to stack. 18.) Arah has the longest missile range of any unit in Battle Realms rivaled only by a PK Cannoneer with indirect fire going. Her attack range is longer then her awareness range. To see this in action use her sight beyond sight to create an extension to her field of vision where the two circles meet on their edges creating an unbroken line between her and the target. She can fire approximately halfway through the circle sight beyond sight makes. Combine with zen arrows to reach far away targets. 19.) The firing range for sight beyond sight and zen arrows is not limited by the unit's awareness. They can fire a suprisingly long way away and even uphill. Great for scouting without putting units in harms way. 20.) The Reaper is perhaps the most worthless unit in the game. They only get one type of battle gear and a stamina upgrade. Their attack type slash is worthless compared to Blade Disciples who get attack and health upgrades, a superior battle gear, run fast, and regen stamina much faster. Oh yay they can create zom...I mean shamblers which is buggy in battle because the icon flickers while they are fighting and they need fresh corpses to use it. Compare to Diggers who have poor health but have excellent attack with chant of tremors. Their digging battle gear is useless outside of the few story instances it's needed but that just makes room to put shale armor on them. Pound for pound I think they will outdamage a Werewolf with freedom's howl but this is something I need to test more. 21.) Take advantage of battle gears that are "click and readied" like Kenji's critical strike. When activated with no target the ring turns yellow to indicate it's in standby. On the first attack the battle gear will be fired. There's nothing quite like seeing a victim running towards you to get pelted with readied weakness bolts just in time for Kenji to critically shoot them. If a fan geisha has stamina and razor fans the the gear should always be turned on. It costs nothing to do this and saves you the trouble of targeting the fan geisha when she is attacked and clicking it on. 22.) The ring around the battle gear icons are color-coded. White is the normal default color. Yellow means readied. Blue means it's always on or is a targeted gear and no target has been chosen. Canceling out of the targeting icon will leave the ring blue. The lotus brothers and master warlocks have purple rings when their blessing gears are activated. 23.) Double movement bug. This is a bug in the game and as such it's behavoir can vary wildly between different versions of the game. I do not recommend using this in multiplayer and am only mentioning it because if you're not aware of this bug and accidently trigger it the effects can prove disastrous when your units get separated. To activate this bug order a unit to move to another location. While they are moving to their destination if they encounter an enemy or activate a battle gear when they return to moving after finishing this task their movement speed will be increased with no loss of stamina. To make them stop select them and re-issue the movement order. To test: train two chemists with mandrake spores. Order both to move to a location. While walking click mandrake spores on one to ready it and watch as he suddenly speeds up.
