We worked really hard to give the RTS community something they hadn't seen before, and still to this day, many of the features in BR have not been attempted in other, bigger RTS's.We have gotten the rights to BR back and now, we own the whole thing. Although I can't make any promises, Mike and I still want to make BR2. We have binders full of world history and data as well as notes for future games in that universe. Our hope is to someday build enough cash reserves to self publish the game. Keep the faith, and someday BR2 will be a reality. Thanks again for your support and love of the game. It's a shame it was released just few months before Warcraft 3, which is one of reason why it was just left behind, though main reason imo is that majority of strategic players either expect orcs, undeads, night elves or some european history/future in game, and asian culture just didn't grab them enough to it. Though I think lately, people will be more open for that kind of game - there's no more inovative strategic games (only good strategies for me since BR were war 3 and series total war - i know quite some players will disagree with me, but really, there's no more top quality/inovations), so they'll want to try something new. I really really welcome idea of bringing back Battle Realms, but in it's core, it has to stay same - I'm especially talking about economics - 2 gathering thingies and most important, way of creating your army. Fighting itself could get some more formations, better polished heroes, who gain their abilities (I know, would be copying from war3, but it really works if you do it as it should be done). I won't bother with explaining what else could be improved, since there's probably a lot of suggestions around this forum already. To cut a long story short, I'm very exited that I see Battle Realms serie is still breathing and there are plans for it somewhere in future.
