Battle Realms Card

Hi everyone

I got this brillant idea to make a set of battle realm cards for each clan. It can be played as a game or something, havent designed anything, but this is what i did quickly 10-15 minutes

I redrawed Arah. Yes, witha screenshot for size and height. Everything is freehand. except copied face

The sad part is that the community is small...so your cards won't be a hit. Unless BR2 comes out ofcourse. But honestly this is an amazing idea.

Oh.. seems I'm not the only one who had the idea to make BR cards.

I made some cards too, the next step will be to find a printer so that I can test the game.

This is an old model of the Samurai card, there's a mistake : When it dies, it's making magical damage. It's supposed to be Explosive.

pretty cool and by the way i just noticed arah use and iron bow which make double the damage from the origianl bow that archers use

That card looks awesome and is made of win. Looks like there are three pepole in this forum with the BR card game idea (Moo Moo Cow, Tess and Zao).

Actually, Zao's samurai cdrawing looks pretty darn awesome aswell. so yeah, so pwnyied.

I think Maeve's card design is way better than mine.

However, the line at the bottom of the card is a bit hard to read.

Wow this seems really cool! Arah's and the samurai's cards were very cool, maybe if i became a slightly better sketcher then i could make cards for the lotus, but i have no scanner nor the ability to sketch the lotus units really well...

I was thinking of making either Zymeth or Issyl first when i do make them but i have no clue on how to make the card design...

i guess time will tell whether or not these cards will be a success or not, but BR2 i have the feeling it will not be out for quite some time...if at all, but i will not give up hope on it!

hmm maybe i will practice sketching Issyl and Zyemth but i cannot put them on my computer being i do not have a scanner to use to put them on here...

I sketched all Dragon and Serpent units, (except heroes and geishas).

The problem is the buildings. I think i'm just going to take screenshots for these.

If i had a scanner, i could first take a screenshot of a building then make several sketches of it then decide which is the better sketch and then repeat...i made a pratice sketch of Zymeth and Issyl but i have no scanner, and they are both totally freehanded...i will compare them to the characters in game to see how close they are...and then make more sketches to get as close as possible...maybe my mom has a scanner but i don't think she has any plugs for it...

If you have a digital camera you can take a picture of your sketch and outline it on Photoshop.
