Good day!

As far as I know poison damage is common in the serpent clan. When you acquire the "poisoned weapons" upgrade in the sharpshooters guild your bandits acquire poison damage to enemy units. Serpent hero Utara can do poison but the thing that bothers me is that- Do poison damage change the tides of war?

I conduct a poll survey to know your insights and position in this subject matter. If you ask me Poison damage help little. It is only added to increase the damage of the hero or the length of time the damage goes.

Signs of Poison damage:

1. The enemy units life bar turns orange when attacked by bandits or poison using units.

2. Green bubbles appear when being attacked.

3. There is continuous damage.

Poison damage is not exclusive for serpent. The wolf hero Gaihla is the only wolf unit that can do poison damage to compensate her weak cutting damage and low life points. The lotus' diseased ones can do poison when attacking. The Dragon Clan is the only clan that has no poison using unit.

In the first battle Realms Poison damage is increased but in WOTW it is decreased.

SO VOTE IN THE POLL... and share your knowledge about poison damage or correct me if I am wrong.

poison is not useful for me at all...poison doesnt last too long, and the chances are that the poison will do too little damage to actually be significant enough to kill an opponent...so poison is not of any use unless im using lotus and massing diseased, then i can poison a group of enemies and then run off...walk in and poison again, and run off again, lather rinse and repeat..although i know no one who would mass diseased anyway unless they were double upgraded health wise

BTW im practicing my lotus and wolf now...serpent is starting to get too old with me, ill save practicing my dragon last, because dragon is too weak in my opinion except against serpent and sometimes wolf...hehe whoever said the Dragon triumps must not have faced an xpert lotus player...

i notice that poison damage from bandit, xcross, or shinja or from any other units are almost useless. Only Diseased Ones' innate ability that seems to help in battle alot. A few of them can can a large army in a very crowded battle.

I also wonder why dragon do not have a poison using unit?

The best poison using unit would be the xbowman...

the worst poison using unit would be Gaihla

imo

actually gaihla is a semi good poison unit, and the diseased innate death ability does magic damage not poison damage...

also never try to poison lotus units, they take almost no damage at all from it, and if u poison wolf units, make sure u constantly keep on them with it because they quickly recover from poison, i think they recover faster than dragon and serpent but i could be wrong...and i believe its almost impossible to rush with poison units unless u can quickly train diseased ones and quickly bum rush the enemy from all sides...believe me there is nothing worse than having nowhere to run if ur city is surrounded by enemy units and those units can poison u...

Poison: the assassin's tool of slow and painful death...antidotes for poison may vary with type of poison...

i think the reason dragon has no poison units is because of them being an honorous clan, poisoning an enemy would be dishonorable for dragon because poison would be a cowardly way to win a fight from dragon clan point of view.

In a drawn-out game, Poison-tipped tech for Bandits and Crossbowmen can aid in turning the tide.

Hell, throw in Weakness Bolts for Crossbowmen and Paralysis Darts for Bandits, and you can wipe out whole attack squadrons.

Crossbowmen more so due to the fact that Weakness Bolts combined with Poison will not only weaken the enemy unit, but it will also make the poison do more damage as well.

I'm not sure about this, but i think poison damage doesn't increase when a units armour is weakened.

I will go with diablo on this one. Poison takes a long time to get and by the time it's aquired it turns into a long game. Poison kicks ass once you get it tho.

Lol man trust me ur strat is really good, such combos makes me remember BP2 era, where this kind of strats were really good and useful and kick ass ones, now thats just dust in the winds thx to BP3 and the current bugs and overpower things that ruins the game (Lotus Bgs), b4 such squadron of paradart bandits and xbows with poison was able to kill a squadron of mass snipers with a couple of canon with smoke, but nowadays just smoke the shit of them and the cool squadron of bandits and xbow is dead, lets say it massin snipers with canon smokers is the ultimate serpent army (with a couple of healers, necro and heros). Dunno if im bad but as i remember in BP2 poison damage used to be exponencial...

Yeah...

The diseased one's ability to poison damage enemy units when killed was removed in WOTW. The creators of WOTW may thought of adding this ability will make diseased ones so powerful so they removed it.

all upgrades that make your units stronger, or damage enemies are useful, hence the usage of the word "upgrade".

so i voted that yes, poison is helpful in all forms of the game
