Pack Master Into Watchtower.

Sometimes AI computer put Pack Master into watchtower. He dont have target range for missile weapon. Only 3 wolves following him. But he still stand there even when all his wolves die. I think this isn't effective.

"Pack Master Into Watchtower...."

...is stupid. Its an absolute waste. There's a loop hole in the AI programming. One is that the put one of each type of missile property in their towers, and the other is that they fail to realize that wolves die and need to be replaced.

They NEVER run away, even if they are out numbered and out classed.. For example, if you attacked four AI controlled Muskets with four Swordsmen, they wouldn't run away and shoot, they would just die. Instead of relying on micro, they rely on faster training, building, rice/water gathering, and the ability to see everything on the map. If you alter an AI profile to have 100 of everything like this:

[AIPlayerSettings]

Name=SuperAI

Aggressiveness=100

Cleverness=100

Exploration=100

Harassment=100

Intelligence=100

Attention_Span=100

Battle_Gear_Usage=100

Memory=100

Horse_Usage=100

Hero_Usage=100

Healer_Usage=100

Then send a peasant to watch them, you will see what i mean.

Note: Try experimenting with the AI's profile, to find out which combination is best.

I've been experimenting a bit and this AI seems to be a very strong one (even if it's a bit too defensive).

Aggressiveness=40

Cleverness=100

Exploration=40

Harassment=20 (maybe you should make this a bit higher)

Intelligence=100

Attention_Span=100

Battle_Gear_Usage=60

Memory=100

Horse_Usage=100

eh aiz are just damm fast builders and u know at tha start of tha game how we have 2 wait for a couple of seconds 2 load because they ai they start building straight a way a litle dis advantage but they still weak...:P

Back to the topic! In my opinion, the ideal unit to enter watchtower is...

BALLISTAMAN, with :

- 1 wolf following him

- Shale Armor

- Eagle's Eye & King of the Mountain

Its a perfect guardian!

hmm i have some interesting AI...with a variety of skills that can both be a blessing and curse...

i think the stats are a little too high in some areas...i have other AI as well...but about 5 of my custom AI are superized...

P.S. metal sonic can present a challenge to newbies and semi-novices...i can defeat this AI with a few casualties...

I always play with Major Disadvantage for myself, so I'm always cautious. It looks like I didn't need it on normal games.

the point is that not all ais put packs into towers kanjeng can you tell me which sort off ai puts packs into watchtowers? :unsure:

packmaster into watch tower may not be such a good idea but putting a range unit with a wolf may be pretty good

it can kinda help against hit and run raiders and stuff

They set packmasters on tower quz they cant think and quz they dont have brains...like you ndorokanjeng ;)

I'm not a computer programmer, but I doubt it would have been very hard for the AI developers to tell the AI not to put ANY melee units into towers.

AI do only what they are programmed and set up to do. Other than that they are pretty much junk data.

If you want to have some goofiness with AI, then try out my n00b series of AI...

(n00b Grunt)

all stats are 1.

(n00b Captain)

all stats are 3.

(Lord n00b)

all stats are 7.

They spend the whole game sitting in their base..once in a while they come out with a big army and "attempt" to kill all, only ending up dying instead...I can easily kill all of them with mass uncleans..

Everytime I played against the Wolf clan in Kenji's Journey, there's will be something like this...

Oh well, at least I don't need to afraid to strike them. Nothing hurt. :lol:
