hello gregor!

i think you are good for modding battle realms!

so you can help me for modding??

i need help because, i want change the dragon clan province color to red. i've modified the orange color to red.

but the province is same please help me gregor, to change the dragon clan province color!. sorry for my bad english.

-For example I created new ability with 2 box reserved. Its similar with Kenji original number 65 and 169 for unit target only difference effect when it active.

I mean Kenji units .Whatever we add another innate ability [passive] The Kenji inspiration[65/169table] still active.

Im not sure . Did you notice this? I told you this because I try to add new innateability from reserve instead inspiration[65/169table]

it may be easier from the beginning

 

what  ability do you change  what in ability do you change ?

and do you change nummber here  Data_Units.InnateAbility in units section to nummber of your new ability ?

So where you add the new innate ? hmm...

Just put some ability do you want to innateability table >Data Units/innateability .

 

For example some units empty in innateability box. so, I just put some Id such as meleestrike form Leaf Disiple to that units .

 

Anyway ,Since I try do this some ability is work [such as above ability etc.] some ability not work

Thats hapen Bc some of inate are active by unit animation and some of unit dont have that kinda animation to active  innate

If I use Kenji from the Keep train to another kenji, When he died, Kenji at theKeep not restore. Anyway to solve this?

You can change him to another hero with a Bg  like on a film kenji

wahat to the inate there are positive and are related to  ouer unit

 

and what  to the summoning one unit by docking you can use monks /ninjas 

one hero --> more hero and Koril --> Golem. How to?

 

So :

to do this go to:

 

Data_Abilities /217 empty one fill abilities like 230 Wildeye Wildrhythms all tables and find /CreateMagicAtTarget

 

set 218

 

go to: 218

 

do the same like above:( Data_Abilities /218 empty one fill abilities like 230 Wildeye Wildrhythms all tables)with this diference you will

 

change the table CreatedUnitType to 63 Hordeling and find

 

/CreateMagicAtTarget set 219

 

and do the same like above:( Data_Abilities /219 empty one fill abilities like 230 Wildeye Wildrhythms all tables) with this diference

 

you will change the table CreatedUnitType to 27 Serpent Spirit Warrior

 

to do a shale spider must swap ID of a units to make him available and do the same like above

 

to make new one plus unit on end remember in /CreateMagicAtTarget / fill in to new empty ability and then fill in

 

next go to Data_BattleGear empty one (42) /AbilityType set 217

 

and last thing choose unit and set in DefaultBattleGear / 42

 

Done !!!

How can I add the effect units texture like this ? 

It's quite simple some effects are recurrent

 

for example Data_Abilities.ParticleEffectAtSource in editor select a recurrent effect and Data_Abilities.ParticleEffectFollowsSource set to 1 to  have effect by the unit 

 

Data_Abilities 215 here for exemple you can set  it  Data_Abilities.ParticleEffectAtSource to any  recurrent  to check it 

 

 go to the game to the unit with that BG 

 

but in film you see a whole new Bg with the effects

The box it lies in the fact that only in te Dragon clan is visible 6 hero  bc in building normaly you can set 6 th unit other clans no 

I don't know where is the switch probably in exe file

I always test my game in whole game while developing the data. btw this times game crash after past around 30 min. I dont know the cause for game crash like this. I have seen some out of value the game instant crash but not like this times. The game look smooth ,I just look around AI building and game crash.Even though load save game again,Its still crash but not same times or same activity . Could you tell me what wrong with mod?

The answer is: If use Situvn br editor in your game directory 

You should have copy of file with name Battle Realms.dat.bak

all you have to do is erase ( .bak) from end

this should get you to that point of before changes

 
if you dont have any copy of your work 
and you use xiv32 hexeditor
in this case will be wery hard to finde your errorsor mayby simply try to remember 
what in past few days what you want to modificate and go to that data and check if something is wrong
and this is only what is left you
and ofcourse start all over again :)

Yes, I saw it when I copy dat file to backup folder.when I past dat file Battle Realms.dat.bak follow it even I change the name dat file . bak file also change name too.

But I never copy Battle Realms.dat.bak file when I change dat file to data gameplay.

whats important Battle Realms.dat.bak file? Should I also copy this file for next times that I change mod? [Battle Realm.dat and Battle Realms.dat.bak]

So the bak - mean

that  the file is copy automaticly without a changes

to get that copy is only left to do is cat this[  .bak  ]

from the  name of the file

oohh can you explain how in Situvn data editor

And yeah Gregor why u mod is always error in my pc. I'm not using a trainer but if population is high, yeah the error will happen.

if I'm using a trainer that happen too. Can u solve it?

Hi dude, If I open the trainer while game play running, that one reason game crash? 

 

another question, I notice when Kenji use his bg Critical Strike always change the target. why? anyway to solve this?
